Megan Joyce Haha :))
My day started off with a bang. I was woken up by my mother at around 5:30 am but I was able to rise at 6. I still felt so sleepy because I was busy playing games on my phone the night before (Grrr! I still didn't get a high score in Snakes symbian!). I bathed and dressed and wondered what shirt I would wear. I remembered that we should be wearing our own team colors. I am part of the so called "Red Dragon Slayers" so i put on a simple red shirt. That time, It also came to my head that this morning, we will have to perform our 32 count dance routine for the cheerdance showdown of the 5 different teams (namely ahem, Red Dragon Slayers, Blue Phoenix, Golden Dragons, Orange Pythons, and the Marist Green Raptors).

Because of my procrastination, I was able to accomplish all of what needs to be prepared at 7:25am. I know, I know, I'm late. Because our house is located near the school, I was able to make it at about 7:32am. Haha. I was not recognized as a latecomer because of entering through the gates of the elementary campus (which apparently, has no guard that checks high school students and their time of arrival, ID, etc). :). As I was walking towards the high school building, I thought the intramurals felt gloomy. There was no loud music to be heard in the campus, and the banderitas were only few. I walked inside our room, the St. Marcellin Champagnat classroom, and was greeted by friends. The room was such a mess because three teams are busy distributing printed t-shirts. I heard different expressions when I was helping my teammates find their respective shirts: "Oi ate, wala lage di tshirt ko??; Wow nami lagi ning design ta sang shirt!; Tani may iban man nga color ang print sa shirt ta besides silver and black; Ateeeee! Wala man daw sa yr7 representative ang shirt ko?". It was such a hassle.

We prepared for the mass and we eventually settled down and had our Holy Mass with the Elementary students. The homily was about sportsmanship and camaraderie. Sometimes, i am annoyed by those students who disrespect the Mass and just talk whenever they want. I even saw other pupils texting while Mass is going on. The mass ended and we were given some important points. Eventually, we were going to assemble in the gym by team and had to organize ourselves first.

Our quarters are located at the rooms of St. Robert and St. Bernard. We assembled at St. Robert classroom and we had a small meeting lead by the chairman (or rather, chairwoman), Chappie Cedeño. I was so inspired because to of my crushes are also in Red Team ♥. Woooh. To my friends, you know who they are:)). We, the Red Dragon Slayers, fell in line by year level, for the introduction of teams and a small parade around the field. We had so much fun even though the heat of the sun caused sweat to drop along our heads. I chatted with some of my teammates who are also the cheerleaders of the team. I asked them, "Ti, prepared na kaya ta para sa showdown karun?". Some answered, not yet. Some, bragged and said, "kaya ta na karun ah!". And others, just didn't care. "Sus, way bitaw si kuya Gamay (our trainor), way may mangakig satun kung magmali-mail ta karun. Kag isa pa waay diba ni points?". Haha. We had different reactions for each statement.

When we were finally at the NDMU-IBED gymnasium, the emcees Cyril Fernandez and Karen Santiago led the program. Brother Edgar and Sir Montaño said their speeches which contained important reminders. When you can do it today, why do it tomorrow? Don't procrastinate (ouch. I did that just this morning). The meaning of the intramural's name OPTIMAX was also explained. We turned our heads to the field when it was time to raise the School Seal, SSG Seal, ESSPC Banner, and the Team Banners was raised. The Green Raptors made it first, we made it go up last. Haha. Still, it was fun to watch.

Tantananan! Drumroll please.. (dugurugudugurugudugrugudug)! It was time to let the students see a sneak peek of the Cheerdancers' dance. We went to our respective preparatory lines by team. Since our costume in cheerdance was not yet finished, we just put on our newly printed Red T-shirt, jeans, and white shoes. The Golden Dragons, as well as the Orange Pythons and Blue Phoenix. wore their respective team shirt. The Gold team used P.E. shorts, the Orange team used white shorts, and the blue team used P.E. jogging pants. Only the cheerdancers of the Green team was able to wear their proper costume to be used at the competition proper. We danced the whole 1 minute and 24 seconds, and we all thought that it was a mess. Grrr! I didn't even did my last pose (which is the high-V) very well. Urgh. Weeeee. Haahaaah. Many forgot the timing and the proper dance steps. I was so relieved when people cheered despite of the disaster. Hahaha.

We went back to the high school building and I ate my packed lunch at the classroom together with some friends. The rest was such a blur because the events happened so quickly. The Gold Team's Marriage Booth and Love Knot Booth was opened. It was a success at the first day. Yehey. It was so fun too. I helped capture the requested and help them bring themselves at the booth area. Some couples were June and Lian, Francis and Dana, Mimi and Renzo, and Ron Joseph and Samuela. Hahaha. They were so sweet. LOL. (....................insert some hidden feelings here. ;'-(........ [jelousy maybe. joke.] ).

We practiced cheerdance again with our trainor and we had a trouble in gathering the members and finding the missing karaoke and casette. In between the practices, I heard the sound system playing Gee by SNSD and I immediately ran to the control at the covered walk. And there! I found other SNSD fanatics like dana and ces dance with the song. I danced too, ofcourse. Hahaha. When the song was finished I returned to the practice area and my cheerdancers wondered where I was. Some friends knew that I went to dance there because they hear me sing korean songa while practising cheerdance (and dancing to it. lol). Also, in between the practices, I hear information that our team had won several bal games. We were so happy. We thought we were gonners.

We practiced cheerdance again. We got reprimanded. blah blah ek ek chaka ever lola bla ah! I went home and opened plurk, expressed my emotions there, and wrote this blog. Sorry if you find grammar errors and clerical errors here. I made it swiftly. Time finished: 12:23am of October 27. :)

Tumblr: "I woke up at 6 and thought it was an ordinary day. Naalala ko: 'HALA! May MSU gali subong!'. I hurriedly went to bath, dressed, and ate because I remembered Lian was going to pick me up at 6:30. At about 6:25, I panicked because I can't find my glasses anywhere! I looked at looked, but nothing. My mother reprimanded me again (early in the morning ha!). Lian arrived via tricycle, so I had to go on without my glasses. How bad. I could not see clearly the rest of the (-)day.

We arrived at KN to check our room assignments. To my surprise, my name was not in the list. T_T. I inquired at the guidance office and found out that I am one of the students of batch 2. The teacher said we had to take the exams at 10am. I thought, 'Hwaaaaaat! It's still 7am and we still had to wait 3 hours! What am I supposed to do? Am I the only nati nga batch 2? How annoying!'. I found out later that Cliff, Laurence, and Abdul was also placed in batch 2. Yehey. I have companies.

We went around and around KN several times just to kill time. We checked the clock--great, it's still 8:30. The three of us, Abdul, Cliff and I, decided to go to Jollibee Drive Thru. Laurence wasn't able to go along with us because we thought he still had to pass his Application Form. So, we arrived the almost deserted fast food restaurant. I was so happy because Cliff treated me. Hwahaha. I think he pitied me though. Haha. We bought (or rather, Abdul and Cliff) bought ice craze. We were eager to leave the place because we were shaking due to the coldness.

We went back to KN. Time check: 8:45am. 'Grabe. Dugay pa gid tana mag start ya!'. We did random things. We talked and talked, roam around, talk and talk, soundtrip, draw, talk again, etc. And at last! The MSU first batch of examinees went out of their classroom. We met Mariel, Lian, Kezia, and Angelly out. They said the exam was easy. I wished. Haha.

It was 10:30am when we went inside the classroom. It was dark, it was so warm, there was a BLACKOUT. how inconducive for examinations. I could not concentrate well. True enough, the exam was easy but I hated science. Biology???? Haysss. Of all sciences, why Biology. Tsk!

At about 12:30, we went home. The four of us talked again, blah blah blah. I was hungry. I arrived at 1. Naturally, I was hungry.

I met my mother with a relieved look on her face. She said she was so worried, not knowing why I wasn't able to go home early. Haha. My celphone was lowbat so she had no contact with me. She also said that she also called Lian at her house to ask where I am. Goshhh. Haha. Concerned gid si Mama yah. :))

Tapos, nakita na daw ang glasses ko. It was on the dining table the whole time. Hahahaha. My mother said that there are no schools for tan GEE EI. Hahaha."
